1. All prices are subject to VAT.
2. There is no minimum order value
3. Carriage and handling is charged at cost. Every attempt is made to minimise carriage costs
4. We reserve the right to amend prices to those ruling at the date of despatch.
5. Credit facilities where given are subject to satisfactory Bank and 2 trade references.
6. Credit accounts where given are due for payment 28 days from date of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
7. All orders outside of the UK and Eire and subject to a pro-forma basis unless otherwise agreed.
8. Due to a programme of continuous product development, we reserve the right to amend specification, design and price without prior notice.
9. Advertisements, catalogue and other written material are only intended to present a general indication of products referred to therein and in no part shall be binding upon us.
10. The user must at all times be satisfied that the products ordered are suitable.  The seller cannot accept liability for the end use or in the way in which they are stored or used.
11. Any requests for credit or replacements for shortages or damage in transit must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt of goods, or, in the case of non-delivery, within 10 days of receipt of invoice.
12. Every effort will be made to meet forecast delivery dates, but we cannot however, accept liability for any loss arising from failure to meet them.
13. All goods remain the property of Lear Barber Ltd until paid for in full by the purchaser.
14. Where repairs to customer’s goods are undertaken, they are done entirely at the customer’s own risk.
15. We accept no liability for delay or non-fulfilment of any terms of the contract caused by force majeure or by any industrial dispute, accident, fire, scarcity of material or labour or by any cause not directly within our control.
16. No indulgence of failure by us to enforce any of our rights shall constitute a waiver of such right or preclude us from thereafter exercising the same.
17. Once an order is placed with us a commitment is made to purchase the product. Please ensure you have ordered the correct product.
18. Validity of quotations will normally be 3 months
19. In the case of ‘bespoke’ manufactured equipment we would request full payment with order.

Capital equipment/Cold chamber installations

20. In general terms builders work will not be included in our quotation unless specifically stated. Installation by LEAR BARBER of equipment is based on a one visit to site basis acknowledging normal working hours. It will be the responsibility of the customer to arrange disposal of packing materials etc.
21. We assume free temporary storage of our materials and the use of adequate electric and water supplies.
22. A clear-level-site is required for the unloading and final erection of cold chamber equipment etc.  (level to within +/- 3mm)
23. In the case of cold chamber/room Installations we require one rotary isolator or fused switched spur to be fitted adjacent and within 1 meter of the  coldroom/chamber condensor unit.
24. A 30% deposit is required with order and an order confirmation request will be issued - the balance to be paid on final completion of the order.
